This is what my "57 Days of Summer-2013" consisted of.....

Well, the 57 Days of Summer 2013 did not go as planned but the summer has been good, creatively, anyway-just as planned.  I've been working on a huge job spanning most of these days and have still been able to interject additional pieces of work into my spare time as well. 
The two-part project will be unveiled on August 1st, 2013.  I can hardly wait!

Today, I've enjoyed a peaceful, rainy day just relaxing and I did manage to get in some paper painting! Excited about what these papers will be applied to...

She will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Feeling like Monet and Matisse with this failing eyesight: Currently working on a painting during which, I refuse to put on my glasses.  I find that painting is easier, and probably more precise, when I don't have to focus on the details.  I'm forced to focus on shapes, value and proportion.  An artist has to create, no matter the obstacles-

It's been extremely hard keeping up with the days because I'm working on a huge project that is probably going to use up most of those 57 days.  I can say that the first three murals are done and I'm about to begin part 2 of the project.  The great reveal is August 1st.
