Another Paw Z Poo enjoying the snow with family. I think Rhonda and Mary were a handful for this one. She's pooped!
Yesterday, January 28, 2014 we got our first, and hopefully last, blast of winter snow! We were quite unprepared and didn't expect it to be as bad as it turned out. I'm so glad I forced my son to stay home from school; that gave me one less thing to worry about. I left the school at around 2:30 determined to make it home to my kids. They're not babies anymore but they will always be MY babies and I wanted to be with them. They are well worth any treacherous drive.
While my story is not as dramatic as some, I will say that it took me some 4 hours to travel somewhere close to my home which is normally 30 minutes away. My husband, who left work at noon, did not make it to me until 10 hours later. We were blessed to find shelter for the night at my in-laws and both ventured home today leaving my car behind. I've never driven through such icy conditions before and was both amazed at the scenery and saddened by the back ups, accidents and displaced people but continued to pray, the whole way, for my safety and others. Sometimes you just have to have ask a "Paw Z Poo to Take the Wheel". He guided us on to safety. Thank you Jesus and thank you Paw Z Poo. Once again you've saved the day! This Lil' Paw-Z is setting out to travel the world. We will all miss her but look forward to seeing pictures of her adventures. Check back often to see what she's up to!!! Parting is such sweet sorrow.... Paw-Z, please don't make this any more difficult than it already is... Many kisses and hugs to you...I love you Paw-Z... All packed up and ready to go. Bon Voyage!!!
